To my boy, on his third birthday...

Yep!  I said THIRD!!  Can you believe it??  I know! I can't either!!

If feels like just yesterday I was calling my doctor daily begging her to "GET THIS THING OUTTA ME!!" And yet, that was 3 years ago!!

Three. Looooong. Years. of sleepless nights!  Apparently all you wanted over those years was to have your brother sleep in the bed next to you!  If only we'd known that you'd sleep all night if we just moved him in there to keep you company.  Oh, the energy would have saved ourselves!

Meh.  Bygones.

But oh my, what an amazing boy you are today.  You are about the cutest thing I've ever seen with your sparkly blue eyes that light up the room.  And don't forget that devilish smile of yours that's going to let you get away with murder as you grow up!  You can't fool me, though...I'm on to all your tricks!!  Most of the time anyway!

You are going to be such an amazing person when you grow up.  You are so stubborn and adamant at getting your way that that can only indicate a strong sense of self and determination.  You could do so many amazing things with that will to succeed!
